Rick Cowart - President
A co-owner of the company, Rick Cowart began work in 1976 and became a partner in 1981, learning the complexities of the trade from his father and other longtime employees.

Ralph Cowart - Executive Vice President and Founder
Ralph Cowart began telephone repair work in the U.S. Army in 1951, then learned aerial and buried construction and repair as a returning civilian. With his brother, Claude Cowart Jr., Ralph founded Cowart's Construction Company in 1975. Ralph helps ensure quality construction by personally performing onsite inspections.

Rodney Cowart - Vice President
Rodney Cowart is a primary supervisor in both aerial and buried construction and operates all machinery belonging to Cowart's. Rodney has a college degree in landscaping and horticulture and has also worked as an agricultural extension agent.

Steve Bowles, Vice President
Franklin Steve Bowles has 30 years of experience in telephone line work, most of it as a supervisor with Cowart's after working 7 years for L.W. Routh Construction. His vast experience and knowledge of the telephone construction industry includes all equipment.

Walter Dennis, Supervisor
Walter Dennis has supervised or participated in virtually every type of buried or aerial cable and fiber construction and is proficient on all standard types of equipment used, including directional boring machines. He has been in foreman or supervisory positions since 1978, and has been employed by Cowart's Construction Company since 1988.

Charles Keeling, Maintenance and Drops Supervisor
Charles (Chuck) Keeling has been working in all phases of telephone line construction since 1964. He learned the trade in Telephone Lineman school while in the army from 1963 to 1968. While in the army, he worked and supervised the telephone line installation, and repair and maintenance of such lines. Since his tour with the army, Mr. Keeling has worked in telephone line installation and repair mostly in Alaska where he spent 26 years with Anchorage Telephone Utility.

Danny Walker, Outside Plant Coordinator
Danny Walker has worked in all phases of outside plant construction since 1984, beginning as equipment operator and splicer and progressing to supervisor of both buried and aerial telephone cable construction. He has coordinated complete rebuilding and new construction jobs. He has been a supervisor with Cowart's Construction Company since 1996.

Danny White, Shop Foreman/Maintenance Supervisor
Danny White has been working in vehicle maintenance for over 12 years. His experience with vehicles includes over 5 years as an over the road driver/owner of a tractor/trailer and 5 years of shop supervision for a large trucking firm before beginning work at Cowart's Construction Company in 1992. He is currently Shop Foreman supervising maintenance and repair of all vehicles and equipment owned and leased by Cowart's.
